Calumite Limited

Calumite Limited was established in 1969 as a joint venture between Civil and Marine and Calumite International (USA). It produces a raw material for the glass making industry which is despatched in bags and bulk to most glass making plants in the UK.

In 1999 the company expanded its activities into Central and Eastern Europe with the opening of a wholly owned subsidiary: Calumite s.r.o., based in Ostrava in the Czech Republic which supplies markets in Poland, Slovakia, Hungary, Romania and Bulgaria.

A number of export markets in the Middle and Far East, and other parts of the World are also serviced.
