There are a number of raw materials used to produce abrasives which, with the correct processing and sometimes blended with other resources, can be utilised to great effect in other areas. It was this philosophy which led to the production and marketing of specialist substances.

Delivery

These materials are all available in bags sized to meet customer requirements or can be supplied in bulk tankers.

A BS EN ISO 9001 quality assurance system operates at the plant and is third party certified by the British Standards Institute.

In addition to aquasil, ferrobead and ferag the division also produces a range of flooring materials which are sold to specialist flooring companies for incorporation into flooring compounds highly resistant to abrasion and chemical attack.

A modifying addition for use in the manufacture of expanded clay is also produced.
