Purfleet Works

Situated right next to the River Thames, Purfleet Works manufactures and supplies GGBS to the South East of England, the South Coast and East Anglia. It can produce 1 million tonnes of GGBS per year.

The facilities at Purfleet include two large closed circuit ball mills and a vertical roller mill.

Capacity of the plant can easily cope with the requirements from the market area served and there is a more than sufficient amount of finished product storage to ensure that high peak demand can be met.

The plant has technical, marketing and operational staff based on site and a sophisticated laboratory for product testing.

It is also the head office of Civil and Marine and is home to all administrative staff and senior management.
